Sundarban 2 Nights 

The Sundarbans is a cluster of low-lying islands in the Bay of Bengal, spread across India and Bangladesh, famous for its unique mangrove forests. This active delta region is among the largest in the world, measuring about 40,000 sq km.

Day 1 Kolkata to Gadkhali / Pakhiralay
  • Guest pickup will start from Kolkata by 9:30 AM in our AC vehicle.
  • You will reach Godkhali Jetty between 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM and board our Houseboat.
  • On boarding our Houseboat, guests will be served with Welcome Drinks.
  • The cruise will start for Sajnekhali between 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM.
  • Enroute to Sajnekhali guests will be served with lunch between 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM.
  • On reaching Sajnekhali between 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM, guests can do sightseeing in and around the area, especially, the Sundarban Museum / Mangrove Interpretation Centre.
  • We will continue our cruise towards the Island - Pakhir Jungle / Bird Sanctuary between 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM, which is upstream of River Gomadi. Here guests can do some bird watching, enjoy the picturesque view of the Sunset. We can also choose to cruise deep into the Sajnekhali forest to spot some wildlife.
  • Tea / Coffee and biscuits will be served onsite.
  • We will continue towards Pakhiralay and reach between 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM, where guests can visit the small island market and do their respective shopping.
  • We will move towards the Anchor Point, which is close to Sajnekhali / Pakhiralay, where we will anchor our Houseboat.
  • Guests can have refreshments of tea / coffee, watch sundarban documentaries or exclusive Tribal Dance performances by the locals (chargeable) between 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
  • Dinner will be served between 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM and end the day.
Day 2 Jungle Safari & Watch Tower
  • The Houseboat will start its Day 2 cruise between 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM towards Dobanki, which is the furthest point on the southern part of the Sanctuary Zone. The Core area starts from here. Breakfast will be served (8:00 AM - 8:30 AM) enroute.
  • After reaching Dobanki (between 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM), guests can experience the aerial view of the forest from the Canopy Walk.
  • We will cruise through numerous islands, like, Gazikhal, Pirkhali, etc. via the narrow channels of Chora Gazikhali and others, view the Panchmukhi and cruise deep into the forest and get a chance to view the wildlife, especially the Royal Bengal Tigers.
  • Enroute lunch will be served between 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, along with evening tea / coffee (4:30 PM - 5:30 PM) and continue sailing towards Pakhiralaya to anchor the houseboat for the night (6:00 PM - 6:30 PM) along with the serving of snacks.
  • Dinner will be served between 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Day 3 Kolkata Drop
  • We will start the morning tour between 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM and cruise towards Sudhanyakhali.
  • We will sail deep into the forest (Forest Safari) and the arrow channels and creeks of Sarakkhali 1 & 2, Banobibi Bharani and others to reach the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower between 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM. Enroute breakfast will be served between 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM.
  • We will start sailing back to Godkhali and enroute the Executive Lunch will be served (11:30 AM).
  • We will reach Godkhali between 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM, wherein guests will be dropped off to Kolkata in our AC vehicle between 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM.

  • 50% Payment before 1 Week of Journey date.


Itinerary is subject to change/alteration as the visit to the various watchtowers depends upon weather, tide conditions & Forest department permissions available at that point of time. However, all watchtowers and destinations as mentioned in the itinerary will otherwise definitely be covered.

Sundarban is non-plastic zone so please do not carry any. Throwing ANYTHING, even spitting in the water or in the park areas while on boat will attract a fine of up to Rs.20,000/ - and immediate cancellation of tour. A separate detailed list of Do’s and Don’ts will be shared at the time of booking and has to be adhered to by every member.

  • Specific Medicine If You Need For Cough, Cold, Stomach Upset Etc.
  • Must carry valid photo id proof during travels.
  • Foreigners have to carry their original passport as an essential.
  • Camera / binoculars to view distance animal & landscape.
  • Light baggage that is easy to carry.
  • Comfortable footwear.
  • Carry sunglasses / hat cap/ sun tan lotions during your sundarban trip.
  • Preferably Carry Cash As Possibility Of Accessing ATM Is Remote. Only SBI Atm Is Available At Gosaba.
