Located at the foothills of Bhutan Manas Tiger Reserve is one of the most scenic parks in Asia. Blessed with a beautiful combination of grasslands and woodlands. It is home to the Indian Gaur, elephants, and a large number of primates including the almost extinct Golden Langur. The name of the park is originated from the Manas River, which is named after the serpent goddess Manasa. The Manas river is a major tributary of Brahmaputra River, which passes through the heart of the national park. It is an UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, a tiger and elephant reserve, and a biosphere reserve. Overnight stay at Jungle lodge.
After breakfast, go for a short tour to the tea gardens to learn about tea production. Go for a short walk to explore the ethnic villages that surround the national park. After lunch, embark on a long 4-hour wildlife safari into the interior and core area of Manas National Park and Tiger Reserve. Witness the amazing diversity of Himalayan wildlife. After the sun sets, safari will turn into a night safari with flood lights mounted to spot the active wildlife that occurs in the darkness. Return to resort late in the evening.
Wake up at dawn and get ready for an early morning 3 hours jeep safari. Later, after breakfast, start your journey for Nameri National Park which will take around 6 hrs. By separating into branches river Jia Bhoroli make the Nameri National park, the most scenic of all the national parks of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife. Here one can spot the rare species of White-Winged Wood Ducks and the Great Hornbill. Enjoy the evening beside the camp fire and listening to the jungle. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight at a delightful jungle cottage at Nameri.
Early morning at about 5.30 a.m. take a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoralli River at your own cost. For the same we will drive from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory Geese, Ducks, or other large aquatic birds and even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. You can go for a nature walk into the wild life Reserve – an experience that is sure to leave you thrilled. Witness the amazing birdlife diversity of Nameri, and if lucky, you might even catch glimpses of large mammals such as elephant, tigers, leopards, deer etc. Rest of the day will be free for bird-watching around the cottages. You can enjoy the evening as Bonfires will be lit. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight at a delightful jungle cottage at Nameri.
After breakfast, leave for the world famous Kaziranga National Park (3 hours) – home to the largest population of Asiatic Rhinos to be found in the world. Your stay will be in comfortable jungle lodges.
Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site, boasts the highest number of one-horned rhinoceros in the world. The park has one of the highest density of tigers as well but their sightings are very rare because of the presence of tall elephant grass throughout the park that provide excellent camouflage but their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalos and swamp deer. The park area is circumscribed by the Brahmaputra River, which forms the northern and eastern boundaries, and the Mora Diphlu, which forms the southern boundary. Other notable rivers within the park are the Diphlu and Mora Dhansiri. Kaziranga has flat expanses of fertile, alluvial soil formed by erosion and silt deposition by the Brahmaputra. The landscape consists of exposed sandbars, riverine flood-formed lakes known as ‘Beels’ and elevated regions known as ‘Chapories’, which provide retreats and shelter for animals during floods. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and grey pelicans roost near Kaziranga village.

Post lunch, enjoy the afternoon with another wildlife safari to the western range of the national park at your own cost inside Kaziranga. Spend your evening at leisure within your hotel / resort premises only. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight in your hotel / resort at Kaziranga.
