Gangtok:- Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.
Evening time you will visit the famous MG ROAD (The Mall) and enjoy shopping. MG Road is the heart of Gangtok and its most happening place. It is the central shopping hub of this beautiful state capital with various shops, restaurants, and hotels lined up along both sides. MG Road is an open mall or boulevard square which is widely regarded to be the town centre and is the best shopping destination for tourists. This is a great place to take a leisurely stroll or just sit on the benches and revel in the eclectic ambience.

After breakfast start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,312 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city each way (Starts 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Overnight stay at Gangtok. Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals only at an additional cost & documents required 7 days prior to departure for Nathula pass. Tsomgo Lake:- Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m, the lake remains frozen during the winter season
Baba Mandir:- Baba Mandir is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The old one has been built at the site of the bunker, where Baba Harbhajan was posted during his tenure in the Indian Army. The new one has been built at close proximity from Changu Lake.

Seven Sister Waterfalls - The name given is because it makes descent in seven stages. The Tourism Department has set up a cafeteria to facilitate the tourists to relish the pristine beauty of the nature with a hot cup of tea!

Early morning after breakfast visit to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake, the lake is considered sacred since the lake used to remain frozen most of the year and it was not possible to use the water for drinking purposes until Guru Padmasambhava passed by the lake, the local residents requested and approached him for providing a source of water. The Guru obliged a portion of the lake touched by him, and even today that portion of the lake does not freeze in extreme winter.

Lachung:-Nestled artistically in the lap of the eastern mountain range of the Himalaya, the small city of Lachung is a much sought after tourist destination in the North Sikkim. The name Lachung, which means ‘small passage’, completely justifies the city which shares the border with the Tibet. The breathtaking view of the hilly landscape of the Lachung town is having the mesmerizing effect on the senses. Surrounded by the white snow-draped mountain peaks, this quaint small town will make you love this place with its picturesque beauty.

Early morning at 4:00 AM excursion for Yumthang Valley, a valley of snow and flower, which remains covered with snow in the winters and in the month of May the same valley is covered with Rhododendron! The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the North Sikkim district of Sikkim state in India. It is at an elevation of 3,564 metres (11,693 ft) above msl at a distance of 150 kilometres (93 mi) from the state capital Gangtok.

Tashi View Point - It's located inTashi and about 8 kms from the Gangtok town. It offers a sweeping view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks on a clear day. In fact the view of sunrise from here is unforgettable; you will see the peaks dazzling with changing colors. But for that you must reach the point before 5am.
Hanuman Tok - Hanuman Tok is a Hindu temple complex which is located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim. The temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman, and maintained by the Indian army.
Ganesh Tok - Close to Tashi View point is Ganesh Tok, a temple of Lord Ganesha. It's located at an altitude of 6,500 ft and at a hill adjacent to that of the huge TV Tower. Like Hanuman Tok, tourists come here not only to offer prayers to Ganesha, but also to soak in the views from the viewing lounge and the circular balcony around it.
Enchey Monestry - The Enchey Monastery was established in 1909 above Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim in the Northeastern Indian state. It belongs to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. The monastery built around the then small hamlet of Gangtok became a religious centre.
Gangtok Mountain Zoo - Himalayan Zoological Park is certainly a place for wildlife lovers in Sikkim. The Park has been established, to preserve the wildlife, without disturbing the creatures and keeping them in their natural habitat. Located in Bulbuley, Himalayan Zoological Park is at a distance of 3 km from Gangtok. At an altitude of 1,780 mtrs, the Zoological Park also tenders a splendid view of Mt. Khangchendzonga
